Keldamuzik Shares Her Secret Valentine’s Day Recipe

This Valentine’s Day, Get Intimate Cooking.

 

With this romantic kitchen date, you can spark romance by getting cozy at home — while enjoying privacy from the world.

What could be more intimate than cooking for each other or cooking together? I still remember cooking with my boo last year and that was one of the most romantic Valentine’s days of my life.

Cooking together is one of the best ways to get to know someone. If this is something you do every day, cook something special on Valentine’s day. Whatever you decide to make, just make sure you make it with love, since that’s what Valentine’s Day is all about. Today I’m sharing my personal favorite recipe for all the love birds out there to make their day more happening and delicious.

Southwest Shrimp & Grits

 

  1. Preheat broiler. Place poblano peppers, cut sides down, on a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Slowly whisk in grits. Reduce heat and simmer
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cheese and butter. Season with salt.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and red pepper.
  5. Season shrimp with coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Heat remaining tablespoon oil in reserved skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add shrimp and cook until opaque throughout, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Add broth to skillet, increase heat to medium-high, and cook until liquid is reduced to 1 cup, 8 to 9 minutes.
  7. Return grits to medium heat. Add 1/2 cup milk. Cook, stirring often until heated through, 3 to 4 minutes.
  8. Serve grits topped with shrimp mixture with cilantro and lime wedges alongside.

How Old Music is Killing New Music?

Old songs now represent 70 percent of the U.S. music market. We are surprised by the research statistics that old music is ruling the charts and leading the growth of the music industry.

New music is shrinking and is being replaced by old music. In fact, the listeners seem to be enjoying the hits of the past instead. Success has always been temporary in the music business, but now even new songs that actually are liked by people can pass unnoticed by most.

 

Old music is actually better

Record labels were called talent scientists as well as businessmen. Previously, music that was created had to go through trials the same way that new vaccines are tested. At that time new artists would be given a record deal then a few albums were produced. If these albums were sold and liked by the public then the artist would get a second album deal with double copies as their release. This music success study gave time for both the artist to develop their genre and for the label to get the public’s reaction.

That development is vanishing in today’s music industry. Instead of listening to their audience, the label decides what they think will get a good reaction and make the most profit.

 

Songwriters are hesitant

Popular music has been around in its modern form for many years, so it’s very possible that we come across some music repetition that has unfortunately caused plagiarism battles.

 

Record Labels are afraid

Back in the days, talent scouts hunted for new talent in pubs following new acts, interviewing them, signing them, and then training them through their first recordings. Such talent scouts still exist, but there are few of them. Labels hire people to stalk YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, looking for viral trends.

 

Old music is easily available

Each of the streaming platforms offers something consisting of over 95 million songs, which is near to all recorded music, all of which are available any time. This has enabled people of all ages to explore more music.

 

Catalog purchases

Once the deal is signed, the purchaser has to look for methods to unlock additional value in those songs not just to make their money back but to turn a profit for their investors. This means the lifespans of these songs will prolong.

It is a great moment for Families, Fun, and Festivities so let them know how much you appreciate them with your warm wishes. ❆ May the holiday season end the present year on a cheerful note and make way for a fresh and bright New Year.

Christmas is a time for family, therefore you celebrate the day with close ones. If you know of someone who is experiencing a difficult time or is alone, invite them to cheer up with the festivities of your family. No one should be left out on Christmas. Also, the feel of giving is far greater than the bliss of receiving. There are countless ways to give, let that be donating to a charity, preparing some extra Christmas meal, or giving a gift to someone that otherwise wouldn’t have had it. You can still gather your family around the Christmas tree to open gifts this year—even if it’s virtual. You can use video chat using Zoom or Facebook Messenger, as it will keep the holiday spirit intact with visual interaction.

When I was small, all my siblings and cousins used to prepare our annual Christmas crackers on Christmas eve and also do some little music playing and singing for the whole family, playing instruments and acting. I would have loved to share with you those moments but childhood videos are embarrassing and will probably never see the light of day. However, it was a fun way for us kids to collaborate and present the older family members with some entertainment – even if we weren’t all that good. These traditions live with the children and they can recall these precious moments when growing up and have memories to cherish. You can also bake your favorite cookies or prepare Christmas meals for friends, family, or give them to someone as a charity. Go on packing Christmas crackers and singing out your most loved Christmas carols.

What is Peace Love and Happiness?

Peacebuilding is basically about dealing with the causes of why people fight in the first place, while also helping societies to fix their rifts and conflicts without involving violence. There are many definitions of peace, but all of them are rooted in notions of individual flourishing, cooperation, mutual respect, and justice. Let’s begin by taking a look at what really makes people happy. Research shows that the best indicator of a person’s happiness is the quality of his or her close relationships. The question is whether money plays a role? After all, if you don’t have any money, it’s very easy to believe that lots of money will make you happy. But that’s not what studies have found.

In order to truly live your life, you should start to love yourself. We often see ourselves in the worst light, particularly when life isn’t going how we want it to; however, it is important not to be hard on yourself and blame yourself just because you feel something in your life hasn’t worked out. 

 

The message is clear: If you want to feel happy, you should focus on your own yourself first. A lot of people are too scared to follow their dreams and do what they crave. Think about what you would say to a fellow or your loved one. Would you demotivate them from doing what makes them happy simply because it has risks? When you do take that leap yourself, you become a motivation to others.

 

Rather than thinking about your time getting slipped away, get yourself prepped for how you would like to spend your week and how it affects your mental health. The close relationship between mental health and happiness is the real drive enough to make happiness an important priority for parents, educators, researchers, and medical professionals alike, along with the simple fact that we all like to feel happy!

Keldamuzik to Launch Her Line of Berets

Keldamuzik aka Diva is launching her first line of berets, in October 2021. Tamz, as the star named them, will be available to order worldwide, in different colors, from bright red to black or neutrals. Tamz are the perfect fashion statement for fall or winter, adding a chic note to every outfit.

Keldamuzik, the creator of Tamz, says:

“I wear my Tamz all the time, that’s how much I love the texture and the design. The fact that these are available on each color makes dressing up so much fun. I can’t pick a favorite, but I can only say I’m into bright colors a lot. Can’t wait for everyone to see the berets. It’s been a long journey to create them, but it was all worth it!”

Kelda Williams, known professionally as Keldamuzik aka Diva, is an American music artist, actress, TV host, and producer. Born in Bay Area California, she is known for her hit singles “Queen for a Night” and “Thirsty”, both from her 4th studio album, Diva TV (2010). What You Don’t Know About Bay Area

The Bay Area has remained an important musical center since the rise of the counterculture movement in the 1960s. With the advent of pop music and more commonplace musical experimentation, San Francisco and its neighboring areas have produced some of the most important musical groups in the last few decades.

From music industry leaders to musicians in hip hop, pop, indie, and folk, the Bay Area music scene is fresh and varied. It’s crazy because it seems like a lot of major artists come to the bay to get money, do concerts, press interviews, all that stuff but none of those people have put any bay area artists on. I mean look how far we’ve come and we just now have a famous bay area female rapper which is Saweetie. Why didn’t we have a Her during the hyphy movement? Why didn’t we have a Saweetie in the 90s from the bay?

I mean come on let’s be serious the bay area has A LOT of talent including Saweetie herself and many others. But why is it just now coming to the point where they are bringing some bay area artists out? Why didn’t this happen a long time ago?  Why isn’t E-40 at the top of the charts when he should be?? He has put out several albums has great production excellent lyrics and his style is unique! And how about Too $hort? He has created his own lane in hip-hop and made the word “bitch” a cool thing to say.. it’s like you would think having legends like them in the bay, major artists or labels would want to open up a label or production company out here to discover more talent.

While it is slowly happening because we do have the bay area’s very own Keyshia Cole and H.E.R as well as Kehlani, Kamiyah, But it seems that Bay is still overlooked. In the early 2000s, you had a lot of family labels come out like young money, cash money, bad boy, murder Inc., Ruff Ryders etc. they always signed talent within their area. And they would put on for their city.  In the bay, we actually never had that and the thing is we could’ve because we have a lot of talented artists out here and a lot of movers and shakers that put in hard work behind the scenes to promote artists. It’s kind of like if you live in the bay area and you’re trying to make it you have to move out to Atlanta, New York, or even LA to create a buzz. Because if you create a buzz out here it will go unnoticed but again it seems like things are gradually picking up with some of the artists that are coming out of the bay now and hopefully we will see more!

 

 

And I just want to thank you to all the legends in the bay and the newer artists that are out right now for Reppin us and showing the world that San Francisco Bay area does have what it takes to compete with everyone else. So this is my tribute to all the Bay Area recording artists who have given the world a wealth of great music

Why I Never Signed With a Record Label

OK, so when I was about 16 I had my first music audition to be included in a girls pop group. I didn’t really know how to sing for shit even though I thought I could LOL. My mom was always supportive of my music career so she allowed me to take a few days off of school and paid for me to fly to Santa Monica and audition for Columbia records. At the time I was working with this older lady who is my manager and she was managing her daughter Who was in many movies and she took me on as a client. I flew out to LA to stay with them in Hollywood on Lankershim Boulevard. My manager Helen was to take me to the Columbia records audition and then take me to a town agency called cavalier associates to sign up as an actress.

Well, it was around 7 PM in the evening and Helen asked me if I was prepared for my audition. This was my first time performing in front of someone so it was weird I wasn’t really nervous I was just more anxious to see how the setup was. So Helen and I pulled up to Columbia records and it was a two-part building. Just so happens Jessica Simpson and J Lo we’re having a release party for their first album that they dropped. I could see through the glass window all of these men in suits And women dressed up. That was the very first time I encountered the “Celebrity thing” that everyone always talks about when they go to Hollywood. Well, obviously I didn’t go in there because that’s not what I was therefore LOL. So I went into the building across from where the event was I walked into the office and there was a white guy and a black guy they were sitting behind the piano they told me to put my CD in the player and then I performed. Got damn I was horrible! I just remember closing my eyes and singing and one of the guys were tapping their seat I can hear him so I’m like OK great they’re enjoying this.

Well after that I flew back home and my manager was trying to tell my mom that I should take the proficiency test and leave high school early and live in Hollywood to audition for more labels and acting roles. So obviously I didn’t get the Columbia records gig but it was a great experience however that’s not the reason why I never got signed! Once I moved from San Jose to Oakland and I became Keldamuzik that’s when I started rapping.

 

 

I started to learn the ropes of the music industry on my own and became my own manager and entrepreneur. I was able to obtain opportunities for myself due to my marketing and business background. I was functioning just like a management company/label using different email addresses to correspond with promoters and event organizers and DJs…And once I hit the jackpot and got myself booked in Tokyo Japan to open up for R&B singer Lloyd that’s when I knew that anybody could play in this game if they had the gift of gab along with the talent to go with it.

I had labels approach me at the time but I did not want to pursue the deal because I was so successful on my own. I did not want to do the 360 deal and be tied down to a company that is pretty much collecting all of my earnings and I’m just given A standard salary possibly under 100,000. No way! And the thing is there’s really no such thing as record labels like that anymore. It’s like social media is a record label and we build our own teams to help market and manage us as artists. So my point out of all of this is to any of you artists who are still chasing a deal don’t do it! Let them come to you when they do make sure they open their wallets! Hahah… But you would rather have it that way anyway because you know you’ve done something right when a label/investor approaches you. Build your own promotion team everyone could wear multiple hats it doesn’t take much nowadays to really become a success on the Internet and to blow up as an artist even if you’re not famous but you’re still making income off your music and you have a loyal fan base online.
