Here comes March with a message of Woman Empowerment and like every March we come forward to support women and cherish their contributions to society.
“What’s the greatest lesson a woman should learn? That since day one, she’s already had everything she needs within herself. It’s the world that convinced her she did not.”
–Rupi Kaur
Here comes March with a message of Woman Empowerment and like every March we come forward to support women and cherish their contributions to society. The relationship between employment and empowerment is being focused generally and particular attention is paid to the individual’s ability to approach job opportunities and working environment at the communal level. Moreover, women’s access toward resources and contribution level to the accumulated family earnings within the family units is also observed.
The pandora box of discrimination always remains open in the life of rural women, including limited mobility, absence of education and health amenities, non-availability of financial opportunities, unpaid work, wage gap, job harassment, partner violence, fixed extended working hours, double working shift, absence in the political process, conflicts with intimate partner and burdening family responsibilities along with field work. This year Keldamuzik stands with the unprivileged women of rural areas. We need to liberate themselves by getting their rights through the efforts of the feminist wave.
Empowering women contains their will and power to control their lives at their own way. equally inside and outside homes as well as their capability to impact the way of social change to generate a more social and economic order nationally and internationally. Rural women are key agents for development. They play a catalytic role towards achievement of transformational economic, environmental and social changes required for sustainable development. But limited access to credit, health care and education are among the many challenges they face. These are further aggravated by the global food and economic crises and climate change. Empowering them is essential, not only for the well-being of individuals, families and rural communities, but also for overall economic productivity, given women’s large presence in the agricultural workforce worldwide.
Keldamuzik is uplifting rural women with her brand Tinks. Tinks is a proud artisan made brand that focuses on the economic development of the rural women. We urge you all support all the women, whether corporate women, domestic women or rural women.
